I doubt if that is legal. What I understand you want to know if you can just pay for one feed and the distribute that inside your company.

No... well yes and no. The info would be available to employees but intended for our outside customers, not for just our own uses. He's suprisingly not cheap it's just an idea he kicked around but rejected assuming the data would cost him insane amounts of money and when he heard me mention this he wanted me to ask about it.

Always thinking like Corp. America..... see how much they can screw people out of to make the share holders rich.

I just can't say what I really want to say right now on a public forum but I am sure you can guess it.

I see the channels are no longer padded with zeroes and the originalairdate format has been restored to the zap2it format of yyyy-mm-dd which is great. I forgot to say that the lineup is slightly different in the CTV data for the zap2it xml file. The TMS zap2it feed had an extra dash (-) at the end of the lineup but this was removed in the CTV file. Let me know if you change this for consistency so I can update things on my end.

Do you have any updates on the messed up characters? The data was corrupted in the CTV feed. I can still see it. Is there a fix in the works. Still not sure why you have the corruption since the TMS zap2it xml file is fine.

I would be very grateful if you can in the future offer EPG listing in XML for third party software. Us users of DigiGuide are frozen out of the new Schedules Direct service since end-users who use commercial software can not download.

Not sure how many US/Canada DG users there are. If you contacted DG they would probably tell you what the current number is and the possible volume you could pick up.

I'll check it out. I want the Zap2it compatible XML to be exact when it comes to the data format.

The word corruption is not the right one in this case, at least for now. It's just the feed contains a character that when converted by char code is not right. I really will not know what the solution for this will be until I hear from TMS Tech Team.

Carm.

Maybe DigiGuide should provide a free version for U.S./Canadian users. That may allow users of U.S./Canada DigiGuide to qualify to use the data. I use to own DigiGuide back when they supported the USA. It was worth nothing to me without the data. So my idea behind a free version for this select market is sincere.

I keep getting the messages "you have error xml document must have a top level element" AND "there was an error loading returned xml data"

I am able to go ahead and complete the account setup. I get the message to wait for an e-mail, but I never get the e-mail.

October would be the earliest we could provide OTA listings. Adding OTA requires contract changes that are quite expensive. When I have better information I'll make it public.

We are working on porting it to Linux in a few days. It may take a few more days to test it.

Hi All,

Our apologies for not having the service available for sale by Sept 1st. We are at the stage where the Lawyers attempt to keep all parties happy. This can take 1-2 Weeks, but we are technically ready to go once we get the green flag. We will be offering a very special super low kick-off price to make it up to those eager to go.

Regards,
Carm
