Download plugin: My Weather Plus

This Weather plugin is much like the last one exept it supports the new main screen overlay feature in CTpvr. Overlay is the ability to write to the CTpvr main menu screen. With this I am able to put your weather information on the main screen. The plugin will save the individual placement of each theme. It is very easy to set which city to display and the placement thru the overlay setup.

Installing and setup is real easy. Run the downloaded file and follow the prompts. After installing it you have to enable the plugin under CTpvr manger's settings. Adding new locations is all menu driven in the main screen. If you do not find your city listed. You can added your zip code manually to the config.ini file under the "My Weather Plus" plugin folder.

Hi TheCoder,

This Plus version is better now than when you last sent me a copy. I like it so much I will use your theme and location idea in my information plugin. I will have this version shown in the download page tonight.

Hello

Nice plugin!
I was wondering if the font colors used on the main page could be changed? I find it difficult to see the temp since the color is a little too light.

Sorry Holmez none of the font properties can be changed. Maybe in a future release.

The plugin stopped working for me. Going on three days now without weather infomation. I'm finding hard to survive without it. Please check in to it. Sad

Hi all,

In the last couple of days I received a few support email reporting CTpvr crashes. In all cases the problem was caused by the weather plugin. I have contacted the developer TheCoder with these matter. He replied to inform me he will work on it over the weekend. In the mean time, I recommend users of the plugin to disable it.

Note: I have removed the download link until this matter is resolved.

Hello everyone

I fixed the problems with getting the weather data. Also added the ability to add a new city by entering your zipcode. Don't know how this will work for you boys and girls overseas. Made some changes to prevent crashes if there is any future data grabbing problems.
